Orders for 2010

I am going to try and list all of my plant and seed purchases for this upcoming season of 2010. This should be an exciting year in the garden as I have ordered some exotic daylilies. I have all sorts of seeds waiting to be planted- once the snow melts and the threat of frost is over! Larkspur, double and multi color poppies, forget-me-nots, Digitalis Giganteum (foxglove), Balloon flower (fresh from mom's garden.) I also ordered a few Bearded Iris varieties which I will also list, but probably won't see these bloom till next year. All these pictures I post will be ones from the catalog- and with some hard work in the garden- I hope to have similar pictures this summer! I must say being a gardener is even fun in the winter as this is the time when I spend lots of time with my nose stuck in every gardening book from the library I can find. Also it's a perfect time to look through online catalogs and dream of what my garden could look like this summer. Shopping never gets boring, and there is no such thing as buying too many plants!

I'll list more photos as I find them. And as soon as I hook up the camera I can post the photos of our snow day!
All through the long winter, I dream of my garden. On the first day of spring,
I dig my fingers deep into the soft earth. I can feel its energy, and my spirits soar.
